The research done years ago by CONNECT during its days at the University of Pittsburgh, and the partnerships it forged between governments and various utility companies, led to the creation of the #CoordinatePA software now used statewide by Pennsylvania One Call System, Inc.. This collaborative works to protect residents, their properties, and communities to this day and we had a great time at last month's Western PA/PA Region 13 UTILITY/EMS Working Group Meeting in West Mifflin. CONNECT, alongside our partners at the Pennsylvania Solar Center, has been working with a large cohort of municipalities this year to assist them with their applications to the PA Get Solar Program. We are very excited to announce the first project to be approved: the Borough Of Whitehall! They are expected to save roughly $158k over the next 25 years while reducing their carbon footprint.
