Engaging our local youth is a wonderful way to build our local workforce! We were very excited to once again partner with the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, Lone Star College, Conroe Independent School District, Willis Independent School District, Education for Tomorrow Alliance and 50 local companies to put on the "Youth to Career Fair" for area 7th graders and high school CTE students. This event allows us to educate area students on a wide variety of career opportunities. Special thanks to everyone that helped make this event such a huge success!

Last week, we had the opportunity to attend an economic development tool training presented by one of our major utility suppliers, Entergy Texas. Conroe and other local EDOs were walked through an amazing site selection tool to help us better market our available properties and gain a competitive edge.
