On Day 10 of #12DaysOfConservation, we're highlighting our legal wins in the court system this year to defend public lands and conservation policy. ⚖️ The fight to protect nature never stops. This year, we: ⚖️ Continue defending Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments in Utah 🐢 Blocked a destructive highway through Red Cliffs NCA in Utah 📜 Filed motions defending the Public Lands Rule 🛡️ Closely monitored Utah's attempt to seize public lands We are SO close to reaching our year-end fundraising goal to ensure we can successfully defend public lands and bedrock conservation tools in the court system in 2025. Any amount makes a difference - and will be DOUBLED through December 31 (up $150,000). https://lnkd.in/d8NfDrCV Photo: Bob Wick

It takes persistence to protect nature. This year, we made sure decision-makers couldn't ignore community voices by: 📢 Hand-delivering over 80,000 petition signatures calling for new national monument protections 🤝 Connecting our Friends Grassroots Network partners with members of Congress 👥 Driving robust turn-out to public meetings on community-led conservation proposals to #ProtectChuckwalla and #ProtectDolores. Help us continue amplifying community voices to Congress next year and beyond by making a year-end gift today. Every donation will be matched through December 31, up to $150,000: https://lnkd.in/d8NfDrCV Day 9 of #12DaysOfConservation

Day 7 of #12DaysOfConservation! 📜 In partnership with our Friends Grassroots Network, we achieved significant legislative victories this year, showing what's possible when local communities and elected officials work together to #ProtectWhatMatters! Most recently, the Senate passed two bills led by Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, which will expand Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area by nearly 10,000 acres and improve water infrastructure for over a million Nevadans. These bills are just two of several conservation bills that we moved forward through Congress in 2024. Help us keep them moving in 2025 and beyond by making a year-end gift. All donations will be matched through December 31, up to $150,000: https://lnkd.in/d8NfDrCV We appreciate your support! 💚 #ProtectWhatMatters

All of us at the Conservation Lands Foundation wish you and yours a very joyous and peaceful holiday season! ❄️ As we take this time to rest and reconnect with nature and each other, we're reflecting on just how much we can achieve when we come together. On Day 6 of our #12DaysOfConservation series, we're celebrating a victory shaped by thousands of voices across the West: the Public Lands Rule. The Biden Administration finalized the Bureau of Land Management Public Lands Rule earlier this year after unprecedented public support. This policy recognizes what our communities have long known: conservation and access to nature must be on equal footing with resource extraction on public lands. Help us defend this community-driven victory, which is currently under attack. Every donation through December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000: https://ow.ly/o5vR50Uwbr0 Photo: Bruneau-Jarbidge Rivers Wilderness, Idaho by Bureau of Land Management

Day 5 of #12DaysOfConservation! 📋 In 2024, we worked alongside our Friends Grassroots Network to shape balanced Bureau of Land Management Resource Management Plans for public lands across the West. These crucial plans—including the Rock Springs (WY) and Northwest California Integrated Plan—will guide land management decisions for over 9M acres of public lands for the next decade. These plans are essential roadmaps that determine: 🦅 Which areas like wildlife habitats and cultural sites are protected 🏗️ Which areas are open to development 🏃♀️ Where people can hike, bike, and drive 🌿 How National Conservation Lands are managed 💧 Protection of water resources By participating in these planning processes, we ensure conservation is reflected in land-use decision-making that will impact these landscapes for generations. Help us shape more conservation victories! Every donation made to CLF through December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000: https://lnkd.in/d8NfDrCV 📸: The recently-finalized Rock Springs RMP protected the Northern Red Desert in Wyoming, a critical migration corridor, from oil and gas development. Day 3 of our #12DaysOfConservation! ❄️ In a landmark decision for wildlife and Indigenous communities, the Biden administration strengthened protections for 13 million acres of essential habitat in Alaska's Western Arctic earlier this year. This vast landscape is home to incredible wildlife and supports millennia-old cultural traditions. Want to protect more places that matter? Every donation made to the Conservation Lands Foundation through December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000: https://lnkd.in/d8NfDrCV

Welcome to day 2 of our #12DaysOfConservation! 🏔️ Today, we're highlighting President Joe Biden's expansion of Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument in California to protect Molok Luyuk—"Condor Ridge" in the Patwin language. This sacred landscape has been home to the Hill Patwin people since time immemorial, with descendants living today as the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, the Kletzel Dehe Wintun Nation, and the Cachil DeHe Band of Wintun Indians. Thanks to the tireless advocacy of Tribal leaders, local communities, and public lands champions like YOU, Molok Luyuk is now preserved for generations to come. Join our movement to protect more sacred landscapes and double your impact! Every donation made to the Conservation Lands Foundation through December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000: https://lnkd.in/d8NfDrCV #MolokLuyuk #MonumentsForAll
