Another CDRA member making a positive impact on a greener future through innovation. ♻️ 👏 Congrats to Premier Recycle Company for this impressive accomplishment. #CDRA #Construction #Demolition #Recycling #Innovation
Premier Recycle is proud to have recently partnered with XL Construction on Google’s groundbreaking 1265 Borregas project in Sunnyvale, CA — Google’s first-ever mass timber building! This innovative project highlights the future of sustainable construction, blending environmental responsibility with cutting-edge design. The five-story, 180,000-square-foot project advances Google’s goal to achieve net-zero emissions and operate on carbon-free energy 24/7 by 2030. Our facility played a key role in recycling materials for this project, supporting its goal of reducing construction waste. The collaboration between Google, XL Construction, and Premier Recycle showcases the impressive results of prioritizing sustainability: ✅ 580.04 tons of material diverted from going into the landfill over the course of the project ✅ 96% fewer embodied carbon emissions compared to traditional materials. ✅ LEED Platinum certification with solar energy integration. ✅ Responsibly sourced, FSC-certified mass timber. ✅ Thoughtful, biophilic design that fosters employee wellbeing. This project is a shining example of how innovative design, responsible construction, and thoughtful waste management solutions can come together to create a greener future. We’re honored to have contributed to such an impactful project with our partners at XL Construction! #Sustainability #MassTimber #Recycling #PremierRecycle #Google #XLConstruction Learn more about the mass timber build at the link below: https://lnkd.in/eHMrpbX9
