  • “With great sadness, but also with a heart full of gratitude, I reflect on the extraordinary life of my dear friend, David Boren. For many, many years, David was not just a trusted confidant but a man whose wisdom, quick wit, and deep intellect left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. David devoted his life to serving others—first the great state of Oklahoma as Governor and U.S. Senator, and then as the transformative leader of the University of Oklahoma. A true Oklahoma Statesman, his vision and leadership shaped our state and its institutions in ways that will be felt for generations to come. I was honored to have him serve on Continental Resources’ board, where his thoughtful counsel and deep understanding of the world were invaluable. But beyond his many accomplishments, above all else, David was a true and steadfast friend. His kindness, his humor, and his unshakable integrity made him one of a kind. Losing David is a profound loss, but I am forever grateful for the years of friendship, laughter, and wisdom we shared. My heart goes out to Molly and his family. While we grieve, we also celebrate a life well-lived—a life that made Oklahoma, and all of us who knew him, better. Rest in peace, my friend.” – Harold Hamm

  • On this National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, Continental Resources salutes the important work being accomplished through Truckers Against Trafficking. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about the pervasive issue of human trafficking and the urgent need to combat it. TAT has built a mobile army of everyday heroes to lead this effort. Did you know? Over 1.9 million professionals in the transportation industry have been trained to recognize and report human trafficking. January is also National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, a time to educate ourselves and others about the signs of trafficking and how we can all play a role in prevention. Together, we can make a difference and help end this modern-day slavery. Learn the signs: Recognize the indicators of human trafficking in your community. Support survivors: Offer support and resources to those affected by trafficking. Advocate for change: Promote policies and initiatives that aim to prevent trafficking and protect victims. Let’s unite in the fight against human trafficking and work towards a world where everyone can live free from exploitation.
