This time last week we were honoured to welcome Young Voices UK to Co-op Live for the very first time - the first of four performances in their 2025 cycle, and a wonderful community focussed initiative perfectly aligned with our values. If that wasn't enough, we were also delighted to host Young Voices for their very special worldwide singalong, celebrating Bob Marley's 80th birthday with a medley of his biggest hits, performed by 8000 young people inside Co-op Live and joined remotely by young singers from across the globe - totalling over 300,000 children. Thank you to Ben Lewis and all at Young Voices for placing Co-op Live at the heart of such an incredible experience. https://lnkd.in/e2cPvBZ2

Earlier this week, we teamed up with Matchroom Boxing to host 10-16 year olds from local boxing clubs and youth groups, alongside young leaders and members of StreetGames UK. The youngsters took part in a series of taster activities, joined by some of the fighters set to take to the ring on Saturday night, as Catterall takes on Barboza. In collaboration with Matchroom, it all forms part of our commitment to give back to the local community, and our mission to extend our impact well beyond our scheduled public events. 🤲

FOR THE PLANET 🌍    As part of our drive to be the UK’s most sustainable arena, since opening we have teamed up with Event Cup Solutions, supplying ONE Planet ONE Chance reusable cups throughout Co-op Live. In 2024, Event Cup Solutions delivered close to 1M cups to Co-op Live, achieving:   ⭐ A 254kg reduction in waste compared with single use plastics ⭐ Over 130,000 KwH saved ⭐ Almost 10,000 CO2e savings   And at just 6 miles away from Co-op Live, the washing facilities employ locally and keep carbon miles low.
