In this new Read & Share case submitted by Eva Rumiz, a 71-year-old male patient with a clinicial history of hypertension, dyslipidemia and active smoking was admitted for #NSTEMI. 🗒️Coronary angiography showed a diffused LM disease involving the proximal segments of LAD and LCx arteries. The RCA also exhibited a severe long and diffuse disease. The Syntax score II was 27. 🔎TE revealed a moderate reduced LVEF (45 %) with a preserved right ventricle systolic function and no significant valvulopathies. 📑In this new Read & Share case submitted by Johannes Rigger, a 58-year-old male with a history of type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, and smoking presented with shortness of breath (NYHA Class II) and reduced LV function in an outpatient setting in the echo (LV-function 38 %). 🔎 A cardiac MRI revealed a viable myocardium with significant ischemia in the inferior wall of the heart and the patient reported typical angina. Coronary angiogram revealed a chronic total occlusion (CTO) of the right coronary artery (RCA).
