We are thrilled to unveil our brand-new logo, a vibrant symbol of our mission and the incredible impact we strive to make in the lives of hospitalized children. The development and selection of the new logo was a collaborative process among our board of directors, staff and outside advisors. Our fresh design reflects our commitment to bringing all aspects of the arts - dance, music, visual and performing arts - to the children, families and hospitals we serve, ALWAYS free of charge. You know that wonderful feeling when you meet someone new and things just "click"? That feeling was in the air when Breanna's Gift board chair Shelly Rosett and executive director Heather Christopherson, MPA, CFRE, CCDT recently met with Wendy Holmes. For over 25 years, Wendy worked at Artspace, whose mission is to collaborate with cities and nonprofit arts and social justice organizations to identify ways to create, foster and preserve long-term affordable space for artists and creative businesses. Wendy has now launched her own consultancy, Wendy Holmes Consulting, to continue working at the intersection of creative space and real estate development with cities, developers and arts organizations to help advance their arts-related space initiatives. Wendy also introduced us to the beautiful and collaborative space at Backstory Coffee Roasters in the North Loop (pictured). Looking for a new spot for your next meet-up?
