Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) is your key resource for conducting successful business in Africa
About us
Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) is the leading U.S. business association focused solely on connecting business interests in Africa. Established in 1993 to promote business and investment between the United States and the nations of Africa, CCA serves as a neutral, trusted intermediary connecting its member firms with the essential government and business leaders they need to do business and succeed in Africa. CCA uniquely represents a broad cross section of member companies from small and medium size businesses to multinationals as well as U.S. and African firms. Our members are invested in Africa's most promising sectors including agribusiness, energy, finance, health, ICT, infrastructure, security, tourism and trade facilitation. Corporate Council on Africa is a key resource for conducting successful business in Africa and in an era of shifting U.S. policy and rapidly changing markets, we are especially committed to championing business and trade between the U.S. and Africa. We work closely with governments, multilateral groups and businesses to improve Africa’s trade and investment climate and to raise the profile of Africa in the U.S. business community. Most importantly, we work with our member companies to help them increase their investment in and trade with the nations of Africa. CCA services its members through a number of sector- and country-specific working groups, high-level special events, business conferences, customized member services, trade missions and advocacy programs. On Friday, December 13th, Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) was delighted to partner with the U.S. Department of Commerce to co-host a reception celebrating the President's Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA) 10th Anniversary. CCA has been a strong proponent of PAC-DBIA from its inception as it offers a direct line of communications between U.S. companies investing in Africa and are most senior government officials who are drafting and implementing policies impacting that trade relation. This reception was a special occasion to celebrate every U.S. company that served on the PAC as well as the growing U.S.-Africa business and trade partnership. We are grateful that Hon. Don Graves, Deputy Secretary of Commerce was the guest of honor of the reception. We’d like to thank our valued sponsors who made this celebratory reception possible, ABD Group, Acrow Bridge, Caterpillar Inc., Cisco, Google, Visa, and Yeleen Enterprises.
