Awarded amongst 10 “Most Promising Energy Tech Company” and “People’s Choice Award” at the 2024 Rice Alliance Energy Tech Venture Forum. Awarded “Best Minority-Owned Business” and “Startup of the Year” at the 2024 Houston Innovation Awards.  🏆 Graduated from Rice Alliance Clean Energy Accelerator Cohort 4. 🚀 Continued to provide exceptional support to our early customers while driving revenue growth and securing new contracts. ⚙️ Securing the DOT SBIR Phase I grant: Evaluating biocide efficacy with our technology. 🛠️ Advancing our solutions by completing the development of ruggedized and scalable MVP for the Test Kit (consumable)—one step closer to ensure safer, more efficient industrial operations.  🤝 Forging new partnerships (TBA) for Joint Development Agreements to drive sustainability and reliability across industries. We are excited for what’s ahead in 2025 as we continue to innovate and grow, making strides toward a future of proactive corrosion management and industrial excellence. A recent study published in Nature highlights that corroded steel replacement accounts for between 1.6 and 3.4% of total global #carbonemissions (about 1.2 Gigatons!), exacerbating the environmental impact of #steelproduction, which already accounts for 27% of manufacturing emissions. Corrolytics is proud to announce that it has received a Phase 1 award of $200,000 under the U.S. Department of Transportation's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program! Another milestone towards revolutionizing asset management by providing advanced #corrosionmonitoring solutions and reducing the #carbonfootprint associated with replacing corroding steel in industries. The award was granted in response to Phase I Solicitation 6913G624QSBIR1, under the topic "24-PH1: Innovative Solutions for Internal Corrosion Control of Hazardous Liquid Pipelines." This acknowledgment underscores Corrolytics’ groundbreaking approach to corrosion management and its alignment with the #greenagenda. Corrolytics is at the forefront of developing #innovative solutions that align with global efforts to enhance #environmentalsustainability and structural integrity. The company’s focus on internal #corrosioncontrol addresses a critical need for effective methods to minimize environmental risks associated with pipeline leaks and failures. The Phase 1 funding will enable Corrolytics to advance its research and development of effective biocide management technologies, promoting safer and more #sustainable internal corrosion management strategies. Corrolytics has joined Class 4 of the Rice Alliance Clean Energy Accelerator—Houston’s preeminent clean energy startup accelerator. The accelerator invites promising, transformative global #energytech startups to participate in an annual program that kicks off in July in Houston. Once in the program, startups have access to 70+ industry experts and successful #entrepreneurs serving as mentors, as well as a dedicated #leadership team including four Executives-in-Residence, who bring extensive field expertise and will provide personalized guidance and mentorship. Selected from an impressive pool of global applicants, Corrolytics will join 11 others in the fourth cohort of the accelerator. Corrolytics is excited to have Diego Rico as the joining the Team as a summer intern. Special thanks to Greentown Labs for providing such an amazing opportunity for startups to receive Interns from the Summer 2024 TEX-E Internship Program. Diego is a rising sophomore at Rice University studying Computer Science and Entrepreneurship. He loves to get involved and is a part of numerous organizations on campus, including Camp Kesem, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Rice Model UN, and Rice Esports. He also serves as the sophomore class representative for Wiess College, participating in student government and helping new students find their place at Rice. Diego will be working as a Marketing and Website Upgrade Intern this summer, assisting Corrolytics providing the latest updates on news and events and upgrading and optimizing the website for an enhanced user experience. We look forward to seeing all the things Diego will accomplish this summer!
