The Corvias Property Management team at Summerfield Square, Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine hosted their 12th annual Thanksgiving dinner for residents. Since 2013, the team has gathered annually to cook for students who are unable to make it home for the holiday. What started as a home-cooked event for 50 students, has now grown into a catered gathering serving 100-125 students and their families annually at their home-away-from-home. #thanksgiving #ACOM #SummerfieldSquare

In 2024, our nation experienced the lowest rate of formal volunteering in nearly three decades. At Corvias, we value and support volunteer efforts and want to do our part to turn the tide. As a company, we prioritize the well-being and purpose of our team members, which is why we offer 8 hours of paid time off to volunteer during the workday. Corvias invests in higher education communities to support the demand for on-campus housing and a great student housing experience. Recently we completed an energy efficiency project at Wayne State University that will yield significant energy savings. By installing four new modernized playgrounds at Fort Johnson, Corvias continues to focus on providing the best possible resident experience for military families. These amenities along with additional outdoor recreational spaces, community centers, and dog parks provide ample opportunities for residents to engage with neighbors and improve overall well-being. Our Fort Liberty team members recently demonstrated their commitment to giving back to the communities we serve by joining forces with the Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity to restore the residence of a deserving local veteran. At Corvias, we enable our team members to volunteer in their respective communities through V-Time, allowing us to make a positive impact year after year. #CorviasGivesBack

Being a great community partner is important to our company values and culture. Our onsite team at Wayne State University recently volunteered at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit to support local veterans. The Corvias Property Management team at Wayne State University planned an exciting Halloween event last week which brought forth both fright and delight. Organized by the on-site team, the event included a resident scavenger hunt, creative costume photographs, treats (not tricks), and prizes.
