This month, let’s celebrate love—not just for others, but for ourselves and our potential. Lifelong learning is one of the greatest ways to invest in yourself, uncover new passions, and create opportunities for growth. Whether it’s mastering a new skill, diving into a subject that excites you, or pursuing a career goal, learning can spark joy and confidence in every aspect of life. Here’s how to embrace lifelong learning this February: 1️⃣ Follow your curiosity: What’s something you’ve always wanted to know or try? Start there—it’s the perfect place to spark a love for learning. 2️⃣ Take small, meaningful steps: Dedicate just 15 minutes a day to exploring a course, reading, or practicing a new skill. 3️⃣ Learn with others: Join a class or community where you can connect with like-minded learners and share the journey. 4️⃣ Celebrate your growth: Recognize every milestone along the way—it’s all part of falling in love with your own potential. Meet Emily, an online Dartmouth MEng student and senior data engineer at Disney!  Her advice for other women pursuing STEM? “You are a work in progress. When you're just starting out, you have a golden opportunity to learn because there's less pressure to have answers. Ask questions often and to many people. Get an understanding of what your strengths are. Then, find what interests you and what is in demand for your discipline and learn as much as you possibly can about that area. Use every day to get a little better, learn something new, and hone your skills. It won't happen overnight, but I've found the smallest changes can lead to significant improvements over time.” 👩🏻🔬Join us in celebrating women and girls in science, just like Emily, who are driving innovation, breaking barriers, and shaping the future!  Dive into online Data Science and Computer Science degrees on Coursera and turn curiosity into discovery. https://bit.ly/4aIBxbz

Meet Shalonda who’s learning from Connecticut! 🇺🇸 “I wanted to share my journey with the Coursera Community. I’ve completed high school and currently, I work full-time in customer service. While this isn't my ideal industry, I know it’s important to keep growing and improving. That's why I decided to take the Google AI Essentials course on Coursera. “Balancing work and learning wasn’t easy, but I made sure to create a schedule that allowed me to focus on completing the course. It was tough at times, but I kept reminding myself that finishing this course was just as important as my day job. I’m passionate about transitioning into cybersecurity or IT, and I know learning new skills is key to getting there. “My advice to others who are thinking about learning a new skill is simple: go for it! There’s always room to grow and expand your knowledge. “Keep pushing yourself and embrace the journey—no matter how busy life gets!”
