Covenant Life Church exists to worship God, love one another, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. Worship God – People were created by God and for God, and he is worthy of our worship. Knowing, enjoying and exalting him with our lives is our ultimate purpose as humans and our greatest good. Love One Another – Jesus said people would know we are his disciples by the way we love each other. This is why we want to be a community of believers deeply engaged with each other in relationships of sincere, Christ-like love: sharing our lives and resources, carrying each other’s burdens, bearing with each others weakness, and speaking God’s Word to each other so that we grow to be like Christ—praying for, serving one another, and forgiving one another. Being a disciple of Jesus Christ means joining him in his mission to seek and save the lost, proclaiming the gospel to them (and baptizing them into the faith) as well as teaching believers to obey all that Christ commanded so that they mature in their faith.
