The future of education and workforce development is being reshaped by data transparency and collaboration! With a two-year grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, select state agencies, institutions, and regional organizations are partnering with Credential Engine to publish skills, credentials, and pathways data in CTDL-linked open data to the Credential Registry, improving alignment between education and employer needs. Subgrantees include Bristol Community College, Houston Community College Foundation, Indiana Commission for Higher Education, Land of Sky P20 Council, and PASSHE Foundation. As Credential Engine continues to champion data transparency, it is critical that we ensure all individuals have access to clear, quality, and accurate information about educational and workforce credentials. A letter sent to Congress leadership, supported by over 40 organizations including Credential Engine, advocates for several aspects of the Advancing Skills and Workforce Act (ASWA).
