At Credit Union 1, we believe in the impact of people helping people. Each quarter, we invite our team members and clients to support their communities through organization-wide CU1 Cares initiatives. CU1 understands that each community has unique needs, so this winter, CU1 Cares is hosting a Winter Coat and Accessory Drive in our Illinois and Indiana locations while hosting a Toy Drive in our Florida, Georgia, and Nevada locations. Credit Union 1 and The Golic Family Foundation are proud to announce more 2024 Grant Recipients, who are positively impacting their communities in a variety of vital ways. The recipients include: The Meow Mission, a trap/neuter/release organization that helps to humanely control the homeless cat population; Play Like a Champion Today, an organization that supports more equitable access to youth sports; John Adams High School, which is renovation the school's weight facilities to support its weight training classes and student and faculty access; and The McKenna Center's South Bend Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program (SBEAP), which helps disadvantaged individuals start and grow businesses.
