Another fantastic year for the growing ROR - Research Organization Registry - the only possible *open* way to attribute basically anything to a research institution. Hello, assessment, evaluation, funding, and also... open metadata. 'Bout time to get connected?

New Year's resolution (in case you need another one)! It should be a no-brainer for 2025 to plan to connect with _actual open_ metadata for affiliation attribution. The ROR - Research Organization Registry is key to showing evidence of institutional contribution, individual recognition, scientific evidence - and soon even funding acknowledgements. Get it into your data and systems, and Crossref members - get it into the scholarly metadata record :-)
