Crown Beverages and Waste Pays Announce Strategic Partnership to Enhance PET Waste Collection We are excited to announce our strategic partnership with Waste Pays, a pioneer in sustainable waste management solutions, to significantly enhance the collection and recycling of Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste in #Uganda, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment. While responding to consumer demand for refreshment products on-the-go, the volumes of PET products sold in Uganda and consequently #PETwaste generated has increased over the years. Cognizant of the emerging impact of plastic waste to climate change and inline with #PepsiCo International’s !#PEP+ (PEP Positive) agenda, #CrownBeveragesLimited is supporting the #PETwaste management by boosting the #PETwaste collection efforts of leading #PETCollectors and #PETRecyclers in Uganda. We are thrilled to be taking part in the Trinity College Nabbingo Old Girls Sports Gala, set for August 17, 2024, at UICT! This will be the second time Crown Beverages is supporting the annual event. Today’s press conference marked the official launch of what promises to be an unforgettable event celebrating our rich heritage and fostering community spirit through sports. The gala will feature a dynamic mix of sporting activities, entertainment, and networking opportunities, all aimed at raising funds for Trinity Junior School.
