Vincent Douglas Huynh ’19 recently completed the Capital Fellows Programs at the Center for California Studies. He is part of the 2023-2024 cohort of senate fellows. Vincent was placed in State Senator Steven Bradford’s office, where he joined a welcoming and supportive team. Over the past year, he contributed to impactful legislation on critical issues, making a meaningful difference for Californians.

Cindy Chavez, a CSUF political science student and the 2024 Panetta Congressional intern, is gaining hands-on experience in U.S. Rep. Lou Correa’s Washington, D.C., office, where she engages in legislative work such as attending briefings, handling constituent communications, and drafting recommendations on key policy issues. Joshua González '18, a third-generation member of the Northgate Market family business, is the General Manager and Business Development leader at Mercado González. He has been invited to join the college’s Dean’s Advisory Board to support student success in business. He currently serves as co-chair of the Alumni Council. Juan Gomez ’10 co-curated an art exhibition currently on view at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, a gallery in the downtown arts district of Santa Ana. He worked with artist Maribel Nuño Navarro to curate “Original Sources,” which features 11 contemporary Southern California artists from varied backgrounds who use a range of media and techniques.
