In November 2024, China reached a significant milestone in its power grid development with the successful completion of the first-ever ACCC® Conductor using the ACCC InfoCore® System on the Jizipu Branch Line in Yijun County, Shaanxi Province. This upgrade, part of the 125 Yangliu Line, replaces the existing overhead insulated wires with a new, high-performance conductor designed to improve efficiency in challenging environments. Great to see our associates in China taking center stage: The second annual meeting on Detection Test Technology of IEEE Power & Energy Society China Satellite Technical-Transmission & Distribution was recently held in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China. The event brought together key industry players, including representatives from the IEEE PES (China) , China Electrical Power Research Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Kunming Power Bureau and many others. One of the highlights of the meeting was a focused discussion on the international development of CTC Global's ACCC® Conductor, with particular emphasis on the ACCC InfoCore® System. The session also showcased the first pilot InfoCore project in China and highlighted CTC Composite Material Co. Ltd.'s global projects and advanced installation methods. Peng Zhang, Deputy GM for Sales at CTC Composite Material Co.
