The Anna+Anton Olson Legacy Foundation has awarded $150,000 in operational grants to support 17 local nonprofits across Georgetown, Hutto, and Taylor. This year, the Foundation shifted its focus to solely funding operational needs - from unexpected expenses like rising insurance costs, to long-term projects like leadership training.   “Whether short-term emergency needs or long-term capacity building, Anna-Anton is committed to strengthening nonprofits,” said founder Larry Olson. We will hear a brief presentation from three incredible nonprofits doing amazing work in our community. Philanthropy Hour puts a spotlight on hidden gems in our community. This program is for community leaders, philanthropists, engaged citizens, and anyone wanting to learn more about the organizations making the world a better place in our own backyard.
