Today, we had the privilege of packing Thanksgiving meals alongside our amazing partners from Cubs Charities! Together, we provided 500 delicious holiday meals to young people experiencing homelessness in the Chicago area. A huge thank you to Cubs Charities, The Smoke Daddy, and all the incredible individuals who make this annual tradition possible. #CubsCharities #YouthHOPEMonth #ShineALight

Our shelter programming team has set out to show residents life skills to prepare them for life in Chicago. One of those is sports and recreation. Recently, Cubs Charities hosted more than 30 of the children living in out shelters. There, Cubs coaches taught them the fundamentals of baseball and promoted social and emotional learning with them. We are thankful for partners like this who help us advance the work to love our neighbors the way Jesus loves us all! Be the change in our city and support our work! Before the end of the year, we are looking for 150 monthly donors and want to raise a total of $200,000. Your contribution will help us continue loving youth and their families through mentoring, sports, education, peacemaking, food, and housing security.
