Board of Commissioners Chairman Kirk deViere welcome the esteemed guests and nearly 250 participants. The Honorable Judge Toni King, DSS Director Brenda Jackson, Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of NC Erin Blondel, Commissioner for the NC Human Relations Commission Sheila Cuffee, and Victim Witness Coordinator with the U.S. Attorney’s office in Raleigh Michelle Scott were all in attendance. Together, we’re strengthening our community’s ability to recognize and respond to human trafficking situations.
