Hospitals and Health Care
With You, Every Step of the Way. Specializing in foot and ankle care for your overall health.
About us
Curalta Foot + Ankle is dedicated to the advancement of podiatric care across the Northeast. The practice was formed by likeminded podiatrists and medical doctors with the goal of improving the lives of patients and delivering stellar clinical care. Originally, Curalta established itself as a collaborative practice in New Jersey and has since grown to be the largest group in the Northeast. The company is continuing its robust expansion in 2024 and currently has over 40 locations across New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania . Curalta’s positive reputation for team culture, provider collegiality, and dedication to patient service has contributed to its initial success and has served to attract podiatrists and patients alike. We invite practices and doctors in the Northeast who share this vision to reach out to explore affiliation with Curalta. Curalta Health is transforming podiatry to help people take better care of their feet. We’re with you every step of the way, helping you understand the importance of lower extremity health and providing comprehensive care and guidance to get you back on your feet and living the fullest, healthiest life possible. Curalta Health was born from a desire to unite the fragmented podiatry industry. We saw the need to create an integrated offering for foot and ankle care across a spectrum of providers and services in order to achieve better outcomes. Our providers are leaders in their fields, pushing forward new ideas and treatment options—and, most importantly, applying those cutting-edge ideas to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain and enhance their health.

A blog written by Kevin Warner DPM: Common Basketball Injuries🏀 Playing basketball is a fun way to stay active, but it comes with a risk of injuries. Today, I’ll highlight some common basketball-related injuries and how they occur. The most common injury is an ankle sprain, often caused by rolling your ankle during jumping or stepping awkwardly. This typically results in an inversion injury, where ligaments on the outside of the ankle are damaged. However, an eversion injury can also occur, affecting the ligaments on the inside of the ankle. In severe cases, an ankle sprain can lead to a fracture, which happens similarly but involves greater force. Another common issue involves the Achilles tendon, the largest tendon in your body, which attaches to the back of the heel and is essential for jumping and pushing off. A frequent condition is Achilles tendonitis, an inflammation of the tendon, usually where it connects to the heel but sometimes throughout the tendon. If left untreated, this can lead to thickening or even tearing of the tendon. A more serious injury is an Achilles tendon rupture, where the tendon detaches from the bone. This often feels like being “shot” in the back of the ankle. At Curalta Foot + Ankle, we specialize in treating these injuries and more. If you’re experiencing any of these issues, schedule an appointment today—we’ll help you get back on the court! Contact us at 📞888–777-1430 or book an appointment today at www.curalta.com

At Curalta Foot + Ankle, we’re committed to raising awareness about the impact of diabetes on foot health and the importance of preventative care. Diabetic patients are at a higher risk for foot complications due to issues like poor circulation and nerve damage, which can make it harder to feel cuts, sores, or injuries on the feet. Here are some tips for keeping your feet healthy and happy: •Daily Foot Checks: Take a few minutes each day to inspect your feet for any cuts, redness, swelling, or blisters. Early detection is key! •Proper Footwear: Wearing well-fitted shoes that provide support can protect against friction and pressure on sensitive areas of your feet. •Regular Podiatry Visits: A podiatrist can help manage foot health, catch problems early, and provide specialized care tailored to diabetic needs. •Manage Blood Sugar: Keeping blood sugar levels stable can improve circulation and reduce the risk of foot complications. •Moisturize & Trim Carefully: Keep feet moisturized to avoid cracks but avoid areas between the toes to prevent fungal infections. Trim nails carefully to avoid ingrown toenails. Let’s keep our feet strong and healthy this month and beyond! If you or someone you love has diabetes, don’t hesitate to reach out to us for more information on how we can help with specialized diabetic foot care. For more information please contact us at 888–777-1430 or book an appointment today at www.curalta.com #NationalDiabetesMonth #FootHealth #DiabeticCare
