Congratulations to Central Valley High School’s Blaine Parker, one of Liberty Lake Splash’s Students of the Month!
Blaine recently dedicated part of her Saturday outside Yoke’s in Liberty Lake to raising awareness and collecting donations to combat local food insecurity. This is just one example of the commitment shown by the CVHS senior, whose latest goal with her classmates is to raise $10,000 and collect 400 boxes of food for Central Valley’s annual food drive. Blaine emphasized the importance of supporting those facing food shortages, saying, “It’s important to make sure they know we’re here for them.”
In addition to her leadership as ASB vice president, Blaine excels academically with a 3.87 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is also a standout athlete, competing in varsity cross country, basketball, and track. A resident of Liberty Lake, Blaine joined CVHS as a junior after spending a year studying abroad in Ireland. Before that, she and her family lived in Bogotá, Colombia, for three years.
You’re an inspiration, Blaine! Keep up the amazing work!
