🚀 First-Time CyberForce Competition: A Day to Remember! 🚀 What an exhilarating experience at the CyberForce Competition! Competing alongside my fellow University of Toledo Cyber Security Club members was nothing short of inspiring. Both of our teams showed incredible determination: Team 1: Myself, Saikrishna Chekka, Anup Suwal, N H M Arafat, and Yash Kakade Team 2: Jalal Abdel Halim, Magani Niyomdi, Shaan Kagadagar, Sarad Aryal, Mohit Jain, and Michael Ako As first-time participants, we faced high-pressure challenges but came together to perform beyond expectations. Every moment was a learning opportunity, and the teamwork displayed was truly inspiring. Special gratitude to our incredible mentor Dr. Ahmad Javaid, for your guidance, wisdom, and encouragement. Your support prepared us to tackle the intense scenarios with confidence! 🙏 On a personal note, I am beyond thrilled to have won the raffle prize—a subscription to SANS Netwars Continuous! This will be an incredible opportunity to sharpen my cybersecurity skills even further. 🎉 This unforgettable experience has only fueled my passion for cybersecurity and teamwork. Recently I got the opportunity to compete with Liberty University at the 10th annual CyberForce competition. This was an amazing experience and I had an awesome time making great memories with my team. I want to thank the CyberForce® Program for hosting such an amazing event with tons of great learning opportunities!

I'm excited to share that I recently participated in the 2024 U.S. Department of Energy CyberForce® Program Competition in Illinois! Representing the University of Rhode Island alongside an incredible team, we tackled the challenge of securing industrial control systems against real-time cyber threats. This experience was truly unique, combining hands-on defensive strategies with anomaly challenges (similar to capture-the-flag). I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to deepen my cybersecurity knowledge in such a high-stakes environment. This experience has prepared me to take on future challenges in cybersecurity with greater confidence! #CyberForce2024 #Cybersecurity

Alhamdulillah after a very long and stressful week I am finally at home and ready to report some good news! The University of South Florida CyberHerd has placed nationally and regionally in multiple competitions! - 1st nationally in the VIVID competition - 1st Raymond James CTF - 1st EC-Council CTF - 1st SHPE CTF - 2nd in South East Global Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC) - 2nd in Aviation ISAC CTF - 2nd nationally CRAM - 3rd in Aviation ISAC CTF - 5th nationally in the CyberForce® Program I am so proud of what my team has been able to accomplish over the past few weeks. These people are truly some of the smartest individuals I've ever worked with and I'm more than proud to be their captain. I want to personally thank our coach Dr. Marbin Pazos Revilla for coming with us to these competitions and supporting us. I would also like to thank Dr. Sriram Chellappan for all the support we need to keep the ball rolling. I recently got to compete with my team at the #CyberForce2024 competition. Learned a ton, made new friends, and had a blast competing. It has truly sparked a passion in me to learn more about the energy cybersecurity field.
