A roofing contractor with 75+ years of experience servicing commercial and industrial properties
About us
D. C. Taylor Co. specializes in commercial and industrial roofing and has a long history of performing roofing services in the kind of environments that challenge even the most highly skilled construction trade personnel. After 75+ years servicing customers throughout the United States, our best practices have become a standard. We make safety a priority every day, on every project. Our low safety incident rates are proof of our vigilance. In 2024, EHS Today named D. C. Taylor Co. as one of America’s Safest Companies. Almost 50 percent of the jobs D. C. Taylor Co. undertakes are at food processing, manufacturing, or warehouse buildings; however, the company has a diverse customer list, including many other types of commercial, retail, and institutional facilities. D. C. Taylor Co. is an approved applicator for most of the industry’s largest manufacturers (e.g., Carlisle SynTec, Elevate, ER Systems, Fibertite, Sika Sarnafil, Siplast, Soprema, etc.) and has received numerous awards and accolades both for its quality installations and superior jobsite safety.

The cover or protection must, according to 1926.502(i)(2), “… be capable of supporting, without failure, at least twice the weight of employees, equipment, and materials that may be imposed on the cover at any one time.” Options include guardrail, skylight screens, or temporary nets.
