It’s inspiring to see the heightened engagement between the food industry and the healthcare sector at gatherings like #HLTH2024. For far too long the intersection between our food system and our health outcomes has been ignored. At this year’s summit, it was clear there is an emerging and accelerating focus on harnessing the preventative power of healthy food in a holistic approach to healthcare, which is why I was thrilled to participate in the Health Foodies panel. It was great to be able to share Daily Harvest’s Theory of Change, where organic fruits and vegetables are the foundation for healthier consumer behavior and the fact that consumer interest in sustainably sourced and regeneratively grown ingredients isn’t just a trend, but the key to the resiliency and health of our agricultural system. Organic must be the foundation of a truly regenerative system and brands have a responsibility to move beyond their individual purchasing power and lock arms in partnership if we’re going to change the system. Mike McGee (Mugsy) and Stephanie Petrusha (DUDE Wipes) highlighted AI's role in enhancing customer experience through chatbots and demand forecasting, while Wesley Williams (Daily Harvest) shared how AI helps their brand filter through the data noise to grow as a traditional CPG brand 🤖 Maciej S.
