🚀 October was a record-breaking month for RIA M&A, with 37 deals and the $100B LPL Financial-Atria Wealth Partners transaction making headlines. In comparison, November slowed things down, with 17 announced deals totaling $25.6B in client assets - just 10% of October’s volume. 💥 There were still some big moves! Focus Financial's The Colony Group merged with GYL Financial Synergies, adding $6.1B in AUM, and CAPTRUST acquired Boston Financial Management, a $5B RIA. Plus, $9B Churchill Management Group is reportedly on the market. 📈 Independent advisor moves were on the rise, with 59 transitions tracked (up from 43 in October).
