    Earlier today, the Dakota County Board of Commissioners recognized one of our Community Corrections employees, Joe Griesgraber, for his life-saving actions during a medical emergency in July. He helped an individual who was experiencing a heart attack and kept him stable until first responders could arrive on the scene. Thank you!

    Dakota County recently received seven achievement awards from the National Association of Counties (NACo): Career Fairs, Eviction Court Housing Clinic, Kaposia Library opening, Mental Health Crisis Continuum, Program and Service Inventory, Mothers and Babies Program, and Thompson Oaks restoration. These programs and services help residents in crisis and make Dakota County a better and healthier place to live, work and play.
