We are honored to announce that The Wells Fargo Foundation has awarded Dallas Habitat $80,000 in funding to build an affordable home in southern Dallas. The grant is part of the 2024 #WellsFargoBuilds program to increase access to affordable homes across the U.S. This grant helped volunteers from Dallas area Wells Fargo branches, Dallas Habitat, and local families build a new home in a region of Dallas that is revitalizing with new and restored homes and engaged families. With one in five Texas households spending over half of their income on housing, and the number of Dallas-area families struggling to afford rent, this grant is truly a gift to those who need it most.
