𝙳̲𝙰̲𝚃̲𝙰̲𝙼̲𝙸̲𝚃̲𝙴̲ ̲𝚅̲𝙸̲𝙳̲𝙴̲𝙾̲ ̲𝙿̲𝚁̲𝙴̲𝚂̲𝙴̲𝙽̲𝚃̲𝙰̲𝚃̲𝙸̲𝙾̲𝙽̲ In the middle of the year, we achieved one of our communication and dissemination objectives: the production of an animated video explaining the structure, the basic concepts and the pilots in which the DATAMITE framework is being tested. This would give the general public an idea of who we are and the benefits we intend to bring to Europe's economy and society. ➡️ It has been used at many events and conferences since its publication. 🤩 FAMILY PHOTO 🤩 The DATAMITE plenary meeting in Aachen has come to an end. After two intense days of sessions and workshops to exchange ideas and set the roadmap for the final year of the project, it is time for the consortium partners to return to their countries. DATAMITE plenary meeting in Aachen ✨ day 2 ✨ The second and last day of the plenary meeting was dedicated to workshops, teamwork and visits. A much more interactive day than yesterday to say goodbye in high spirits! 🔸 Session on business modelling for the DATAMITE modules. 🗣️ The speaker for this session was AUSTRALO. 🔸Beyond Sharing Workshop: Topics included strategies to improve data monetisation in EU companies, defining KPIs for fair valuation of datasets and mechanisms for their calculation, data as an economic perspective, business cases & models for data sharing platforms, legal & ethical aspects of data sharing & trading, and envisioning the future of data sharing for DATAMITE sectors. 🗣️ The speakers for this session were FIR an der RWTH Aachen, University College Cork, 1001 Lakes Oy, Law and Internet Foundation and Centre for Social Innovation. 🔸Session on Work Package 2 (data sharing mechanisms and data sovereignty) and Work Package 3 (data governance, quality, security and supporting modules). 🗣️ The speakers for this session were ITI University College Cork and ICCS - NTUA #DATAMITE #PlenaryMeeting #DataMonetisation #HorizonEU

What better way to start the day than with some team action 🤩? We start the second day of our plenary meeting with a session on ‘business modelling for the DATAMITE modules’ by Antonis Sapountzis from AUSTRALO, our partner in charge of communication, dissemination and exploitation. After a theoretical part, it was time to put what we had learnt into practice and the whole consortium collaborated to complete the whiteboard. ✨ Teamwork is the key to success!

DATAMITE plenary meeting in Aachen ✨ day 1 ✨ We conclude an intense day of collaborative discussion, strategic planning and reflection on our journey to enhance the data-driven transformation. After reviewing the management and coordination aspects of the project and the technical aspects, both of which were led by ITI , the agenda for the day included the following topics: 🔸 Data governance and quality modules: The teams shared updates on the development of the DATAMITE framework, including data governance, quality modules and front-end innovations. 🗣️ The speakers for this session were ITI, TECNALIA Research & Innovation, ICCS - NTUA and LOBA. 🔸Outreach, Exploitation, and Collaboration: From licensing and intellectual property to ecosystem development, dissemination strategies and standardisation efforts, our discussions emphasised collaboration and impact. 🗣️ The speakers for this session were Eclipse Foundation, AUSTRALO, DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. and Fraunhofer ISST. 🔸Integration, Demonstration, and Validation: We focused on pilot deployments, training materials, and user integration of the DATAMITE components. 🗣️ The speakers for this session were Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center / Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieciowe (PCSS), Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) 🔸Data Sharing Mechanisms and Data Sovereignty 🗣️ The speakers for this session were CERTH, FIR an der RWTH Aachen, 1001 Lakes Oy, TECNALIA Research & Innovation and Fraunhofer ISST 🔸Parallel sessions: deep dives into energy-specific legislation and the DATAMITE KPI tool, gathering valuable feedback for refinement. 🗣️ The speakers for these sessions were: Law and Internet Foundation and University College Cork. 🖥️ Yesterday we held our second CodeCamp as a warm-up for the plenary meeting in Aachen starting today! This edition was less about coding and more about practical activities, exchanging ideas and shaping the future of the DATAMITE framework. All DATAMITE design and coding partners were divided into parallel sessions, according to their needs, in order to get the most out of CodeCamp. The sessions that took place were: 🔧 Framework Deployment, led by ITI ⚙️ Data Product Composition, led by Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH). 👩⚖️ User-Defined Rules Generation (UDRG), led by TECNALIA Research & Innovation. 📤 Data Product Publication Workflow, led by ITI ✅ Quality Module Workflow, led by ITI. 🔒 Data Security Roles, led by Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH). DATAMITE partner TECNALIA Research & Innovation's paper 'Purity: a New Dimension for Measuring Data Centralization Quality' wins the ✨Excellent Oral Presentation Award✨ at the International Conference on Cloud Computing and Big Data (ICCBDC) 2024. → DATAMITE’s paper introduced a new dimension of data quality called ‘Purity’, which assesses the relevance and importance of data sets in distributed networks, particularly in cloud computing environments.
