Some ideas and thoughts will be shared to help you navigate the holidays. This will be a hands-on workshop so bring your thoughts, your curiosity and your pen/pencil. On Tuesday, join leader Elizabeth Miller for Self-Care Bingo. This will be an interactive Topic Circle where you’ll learn about the eight categories of self-care. Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes while learning about self-care activities. No matter what type of grief you are experiencing, join join leader Karen Midlo, End-of-Life Doula and Certified Grief Counselor, in a warm, non-judgemental space on Wednesday. Meet Daughterhood Leader Rosanne Corcoran Rosanne's journey into caregiving began with a dementia diagnosis of her fiercely independent mother, opening the door to a twelve year journey in sandwich caregiving. After experiencing first-hand the stress and isolation caregiving brings along with the lack of meaningful resources for caregivers, Rosanne created Daughterhood the Podcast: For Caregivers. As host of the podcast, Rosanne brings her authentic voice to each conversation and discusses challenges caregivers face with experts in all fields. She has been a Daughterhood Circle Leader since 2019 and has been featured in CNN Health, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Barron’s, Next Avenue and others. Not surprising at all...."New research, with the help of a novel and interactive compensation calculator, has allowed the caregivers of loved ones who have Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia to estimate the monetary impact of the daily care and labor they deliver.
