Davis Plumbing Company

Davis Plumbing Company Inc. unofficially started in 1974 when Ken Davis found an interest in plumbing and began as an apprentice at Scott Marbut Plumbing Company in Macon, Ga. Ken took a brief break from plumbing to work for Georgia Power Company on the Plant Scherer project. There he was the concrete superintendent until the project was completed. Ken continued his love for plumbing by spending every spare minute he had doing it. In 1982 Ken decided to reserve the company name Davis Plumbing Co., Inc. with the Georgia Secretary of State office, and continued to work with Georgia Power Co. full-time and plumb part time until 1989. At this point, Ken decided that his family and love for plumbing were more important and retired from Georgia Power Co. and Davis Plumbing Co. became a full-time career company. When Ken started working full time as self-employed entrepreneur, he just had himself, a pick-up truck and a bag full of tools. Ken has worked long days and nights, many weekends, and holidays to build the trust of the community and maintain a reputation of being an honest, hardworking, man that will give you the shirt off his back. These values are what Davis Plumbing Co. foundation are built on today, creating a name known for trust, honesty, and respect. Today Davis Plumbing Co. has become a second-generation company passed down to Ken's son, Will Davis.
