DecarbonX, developed by Angara Global, is an innovative system for managing industrial equipment degradation risks and production decarbonization. It aims to transform equipment maintenance and risk management in industries, particularly petrochemicals, increasing energy efficiency by 15-25%, reducing carbon emissions by 15-40%, and improving product yield up to 4%. The system implements a Decarbonization-Centered Maintenance (DCM) strategy across corporate, plant, production unit, and individual equipment levels. At its core is DROP (Dynamic Risk Orchestration Platform), an AI-driven system acting as the enterprise's central nervous system. DROP continuously analyzes production data and human insights, identifying complex degradation risk chains and balancing loss prevention with profit maximization. DecarbonX is compatible with most asset management systems and applicable in oil refining, chemicals, geothermal energy, fertilizers, biofuels, and water treatment. In oil refining alone, it can reduce Scope 1 emissions by 400 million tons of CO2 annually, with 160 million tons reducible immediately without additional CAPEX, saving over $50 billion yearly in energy and carbon costs. Angara's partnership-based business model engages local Service Providers, creating high-skilled jobs and supporting communities. The technology, rated TRL 8+ by DNV, is already implemented in numerous projects across Europe and the Middle East since its March 2022 launch.
