Exciting News for DeForest! A $1.5 million state grant will help finance road work for a new Kwik Trip distribution center in DeForest! This project will create 398 jobs and support our local economy. Governor Tony Evers highlighted the benefits of this investment, which will generate jobs and revenue for Dane County and beyond. DeForest Village President Jane Cahill Wolfgram expressed gratitude for the partnership with WisDOT, emphasizing the positive impact on our community. 🌍 Thank You, DeForest, for Going Green! 🌍 Our October 26 e-waste recycling event was a fantastic success, with a total of 15,791 lbs of electronic waste collected—including an impressive 4,976 lbs of flat-screen TVs! Every item collected means less waste in our landfills and a greener future for our community. 🌱 Looking ahead, we’re excited to partner with the University of Wisconsin- Madison UniverCity Alliance on a Sustainability Plan for DeForest. DeForest Athletic Complex Naming Ceremony Unveils New Name: DeForest Kwik Trip Athletic Complex On Friday, September 20, the Village of DeForest celebrated the official renaming of the DeForest Athletic Complex to the DeForest Kwik Trip Athletic Complex. The ceremony brought together Village staff, board members, local officials, and Kwik Trip representatives to mark this exciting partnership. This year alone, the complex has hosted over 300 teams and draws an estimated 100,000 visitors to the complex yearly. The renaming ceremony celebrates the partnership between Kwik Trip, Inc. and the Village, further enhancing the complex's reputation as a destination for local and regional sporting events.
