Delta-Theta is an independent architectural lighting design consultancy with expertise spanning across interior, exterior façade and public realm lighting and master planning. We have successfully delivered unique lighting design solutions for projects of all sizes and scales including masterplans, commercial buildings and office towers, retail malls, hotels and resorts, restaurants and bars, yachts and private residencies. We aim to create lighting schemes seamlessly integrated into the architecture in an efficient and uniquely creative manner. We believe that knowledge, experience and passion are the ingredients for great projects. Our team includes creative designers, analysts and technologists – all closely collaborating with the rest of the design teams from inception stage up to delivering the schemes on site – often developing customised luminaires and solutions to suit the unique requirements of each project both technically and aesthetically. Whether it’s lighting design for interior or exterior architecture, we use lighting to create scenes that enhance and even transform the way we experience our environment; painting the canvas with light, shadows and darkness.

Delta-Theta was commissioned to design the exterior and interior lighting of the renovated hotel, now entering a new chapter. Underpinned by Vana’s Pernari concept of casual luxury, Lindos Aqua Terra hotel is a design lover’s dream. The unique approach taken to lighting the hotel is discreet and gentle, with handcrafted lighting elements highlighting its authenticity and lighting techniques revealing the rich materiality. The key lighting consideration on this project was to create a balance between interior and exterior lighting, providing unobstructed views over the Aegean Sea and allowing guests to enjoy the landscape and the sea. Delta-Theta’s team worked closely with The Stella Collective, to design Casa Amal, a high-end residential villa in Dubai, overlooking the impressive skyline whilst maintaining its privacy. The brief was to incorporate Arab world’s details in a beautiful and simple manner throughout the 1500sqm of the property. This 4-bedroom family home includes lush landscaped outdoor areas with swimming pool and various break-out areas. The house features a delicately perforated facade, inspired from the mashrabiya screens, which has integrated lighting meticulously detailed by Delta-Theta to replicate a ‘candle’ lit effect during the evening hours.
