Our commitment to sustainability continues to grow. Since installing solar panels at our Gerald, Missouri plant in June, we’ve generated 79,000 kWh of renewable energy—equivalent to avoiding 35 tons of CO2 emissions. We’ve also upgraded to energy-efficient air compressors at both our St. Louis and Gerald plants, further reducing our environmental impact. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Over the past four years, we’ve implemented multiple water-saving initiatives that have significantly reduced our water consumption. In just the past 12 months, we’ve saved 1,317,270 gallons of water—enough to provide water for about 65 households for an entire year. As we close out our fourth year of these efforts, we’re proud of the progress we’ve made and excited to continue driving sustainable practices. Meet Tim Kinser! Tim has been an integral part of the DEMA family for an incredible 35 years. Over the years, he has been at the forefront of innovation and product development, and one of his proudest accomplishments is his work on the Titan ware wash dispenser. Tim was part of the development team that introduced key features like quick change pumps and Auto Switchover, which have made the Titan a reliable choice for our customers for nearly 20 years. He’s trained countless customers on the advantages of the Titan and has seen firsthand how it’s contributed to their success. When Tim’s not busy making sure DEMA products are top-notch, you can find him and his wife, Karen, enjoying the great outdoors—whether it's hiking in the mountains or biking along the coast. They're avid concert-goers and passionate fans of Iowa State Cyclones football and basketball. And of course, their dog Marley is always part of the adventure! We’re committed to sustainability, and one way we’re making an impact is by reducing paper use for our instruction sheets. Previously, our instruction manuals averaged eight pages, but we’ve streamlined them to a single page featuring a QR code. This code provides quick access to the most up-to-date version of the instructions on our website, ensuring that customers always have the latest information. We understand the importance of protecting our products during transit, but we’re also committed to protecting the environment. While foam has been effective for secure shipments, we’re making strides toward a more sustainable future by transitioning to all recycled paper and cardboard packaging. Our goal is to eliminate all foam packing materials by the end of 2025, and we’re already making progress on this front.
