In 2024, we saw a notable increase in voter confidence in our democratic system. However, there is still important work to be done to further strengthen faith in our electoral process. As we look to the year ahead, we remain committed to building trust and safeguarding the integrity of our elections.

About us
Declining faith in America's democratic institutions threatens the fabric of our nation. The Democracy Defense Project (DDP) is a new organization led by a bipartisan group of former elected officials and leaders across Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – key battleground states where the possibility of challenges to federal elections may arise – who will work to defend the transparency, safety, security and validity of our nation’s electoral system.
