About us
The Decentralisation and Municipal Support (DEMOS) Project supports the 38 municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo in achieving more democratic local governance and better municipal management. It also supports the Government of Kosovo in the development of policies, which are more conducive to rule-based financing of municipalities. DEMOS is currently in its third phase (2022-2025) building on the successes achieved since the start of the project in 2014. The project is co-financed by the European Union in Kosovo, Switzerland, Sweden, and Norway and is implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation Kosovo.
