Compiling trusted resources and connecting family caregivers to others with similar immigrant family backgrounds and experiences fosters a sense of community. 🤝 This connection is a powerful tool, reducing feelings of isolation and providing a source of strength to each family caregiver as they navigate their caregiving journey. I battled a fly! 🪰 Who won? First, the context. I was recording a podcast episode, Taking Care of Aging Parents, on the Happy and Human Podcast. We discussed my work with Desi Daughters and how busy South Asian professionals can support aging parents (in the US or India).
