In 2005, Detective Daniel Enchautegui was off-duty when he stopped armed men from breaking into a home in his neighborhood. Even after being shot, Daniel returned fire, striking both suspects who were later arrested. Our hero tragically lost his life. The DEA vows to #NeverForget.

Congratulations to the newly minted Detectives who came to the union office for their orientation. Board Officers were proud to welcome them and speak about how the DEA is always in their corner — fighting for their rights.

Nineteen years ago, Detective Dillon Stewart was shot and killed by a violent criminal during a vehicle pursuit. A brave, young NYPD cop — he sacrificed his life on behalf of those he proudly served. The DEA will #NeverForget our fallen hero, and forever support his family.

Thirty-five years ago, Detectives Keith Williams and Richard Guerzon were shot and killed by a prisoner they were returning to Riker's Island – murdered in the line of duty. The DEA will forever be here for their families, and to continue our vow to #NeverForget.

DEA Board Officers were honored to join fellow Detectives, cops of every rank — and the loved ones of our fallen heroes at the annual Brooklyn North Memorial Mass. The union will forever stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our line-of-duty families. Together we will #NeverForget.

DEA Board Officers were proud to support members at the annual Columbus Day Parade. NYPD Detectives looked sharp as they marched up Fifth Avenue celebrating their Italian heritage! The DEA stood shoulder-to-shoulder with “The Greatest Detectives in the World.”
