The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is a safety net organization that provides a full array of supports and services to children with serious emotional disturbances, adults with mental illness, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and individuals with substance use disorders. Our network of holistic Providers assists with treatment, recovery, employment, housing and a variety of other resources. The organization serves almost 80,000 people in Detroit and Wayne County, Michigan.

We are seeking presenters who have insights and knowledge to share about addressing substance use issues within our workplaces and communities. Presenters should be able to engage the audience through story, space for collaboration, and valuable tools and resources. Presenters will have a one-hour session to present to a mixed audience of employers and substance use service providers. DWIHN is honored to receive the Public Safety Partner award from the Detroit Public Safety Foundation at last night's Blue Tie Affair at Ford Field. Clinical Specialist Tinetra Burns accepted the award on behalf of the organization's Mental Health Co-Response Program which allows Detroit police officers to be better prepared when responding to mental health calls. Since the partnership began in 2020, 385 DPD patrol officers have been trained in Crisis Intervention. DWIHN is proud to be a partner. Thank you for your service!
