The Deutser crew had such a fun day at the latest Kolache Factory shoot for their upcoming seasonal campaign. The've been a client for over 17 years and we've had such a wonderful partnership in supporting their culture, strategy and branding efforts. Thank you to Jennifer Bailey, Priya Pappan, Dawn Nielsen and Sabrina Nielsen for such a productive day on set!

Each winter, we host a group of talented The Kinkaid School students to intern at Deutser during their Interim Term. A part of their internship is to visit our long-time client, the Holocaust Museum Houston. One student shared “You can read about the atrocities committed, but seeing them in such a personal and vulnerable way completely allows for a whole new insight as to what these innocent people had to go through.” A huge thank you to the Holocaust Museum for guiding our Kinkaid interns on a tour. The museum gives us a powerful reminder to remember the atrocities of the Holocaust, ensuring that the lessons of history are not forgotten. #remember #itshardtohateupclose

Congrats to our first-ever GOAT at Deutser, Jill Zaugg! Short for the “Greatest of Ambiguous Tasks,” this award recognizes and honors the team member who best embodies Deutser’s culture and consistently exceeds expectations outlined by our behaviors. Nominated by her peers, Jill has certainly led the pack by igniting creativity and delivering the WOW through her tremendous leadership and depth of imagination. We are excited to make the GOAT award a new Deutser tradition. #GOAT #culturematters

We strive to live out our values, and one is to “Embrace and Lead Change.” We encourage purposeful learning and disciplined growth to adapt to changing situations. Our book club is an educational avenue to purposefully learn together. Factfulness by Hans Rosling is an amazing, data-driven book that stresses that many people think the world is getting worse when, in fact, it is not. By diving into many biases and instincts that result in overdramatic interpretations, we are confronted with our own ways of thinking and how they might be misinformed. Our conversations spurred the desire to dig deeper into our thinking, especially when it comes to our work. We also walked away with a greater sense of hope for the future of our world. #bookclub #culturematters #Factfulness

Tradition is a powerful tool in any organization’s cultural toolbox. For Deutser, the annual tradition of our holiday party is a fan favorite and a wonderful time for us to gather and reflect on the past year’s wins as a team. Thinking of thoughtful ways to inject personalized touches into our holiday party is so important to me every year. This year we built a tent in our CEO’s backyard to create a cozy new dinner party environment, included custom portrait illustrations as place cards for each guest, and served “WhataDeutser” late-night snacks during our post-dinner casino games. We of course also keep the beloved activities such as the White Elephant Gift Card game and gathering around the piano to sing holiday carols from the Deutser Songbook! We take such care to add these small details to each experience we plan for our clients, but it’s immensely special to do the same for my colleagues and work family. Happy holidays to you and yours!

🎉 ✨ Tis the season to celebrate! ✨🎉 Our annual Deutser holiday party is one of our favorite traditions that truly makes our organization special. The night was filled with festive cheer, whether we were singing Christmas carols by the piano, showing our competitive side in the White Elephant gift card exchange, or enjoying a game of blackjack. It is a moment to come together, enjoy the friendships that we have with each other, and celebrate the amazing things we’ve accomplished over the past year. And of course, do what we do best - have fun! As always, a huge thank you to Lauren Gow and the hardworking holiday elves who make this event come alive.
