  • Over the past few years, I’ve attended more than 100+ networking events, from school events to entrepreneurship events to seminars. Some of them have been really great from a connections and learning perspective but a lot of them have been awkward, not productive, or a place where people go to find their next date. And listen, there’s nothing wrong with that if that’s what you’re looking for - I get it’s better than going to a bar, I’ve just personally found from a business perspective that there’s nothing worse than having someone hit on you, while giving you their sales pitch, and holding a half-eaten cold beef slider. Here’s what I’ve learned about which events tend to be more productive and which one’s to avoid. ✨✅
