This survey was led by Dan Stull, Prof Amelia Regan and Fabio Ferraretto and aimed at Executives and Senior Executives involved in #operations, #logistics and #distribution, #procurement, #demand planning and #supplychain management. While 2024 has been a busy year in regard to AI, the vast majority of companies are still trying to educate themselves on what a potential roadmap for adoption could be. In some cases, there concerns ties to data security and to some extent, skepticism on how impactful AI can be. If 2024 was slow on adoption, 2025 will likely see a spike as companies experiment and focus on a few use cases to get started. Key takeaways: 👉 93% of respondents are concerned about data quality, with 63% of respondents also concerned with integration challenges. 👉 79% of respondents believe their organization needs an AI strategy and they might require support from outside partners. 👉 Main drivers to invest in AI: 26% process optimization, 24% better data-driven decisions, and 20% cost reduction opportunities. 👉 45% of respondents are already investing moderately in AI solutions in 2024.
