DiscoveryMN Angels is pleased to announce our investment in Objective Biotechnology, a University of Minnesota startup based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Objective Biotechnology, an emerging research laboratory instrument manufacturer, has developed the first automated microinjection system that enables large-scale genetic manipulation of cells and organisms. The Company's technology was published as the feature article in the journal Genetics, April 2024, and their microinjection systems are being used by leading labs across the U.S. This round of investment will enable Objective Biotechnology to accelerate their commercial plans and introduce groundbreaking novel platforms to the global research community focused on human disease, agriculture, and invasive species management. According to James Grabau, CEO, "The support of DiscoveryMN Angels, along with other leading MN investors, not only provides us with the financial resources to accelerate our next phase of growth but also validates the tremendous potential we see in our products and services.
