With a Bachelor's in Psychology from Langston University and a Master's in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, Breana brings a wealth of experience to the team. She's also a Master’s Level Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. For over 16 years, she’s been dedicated to addiction and mental health, offering individual, family, and group therapy. Breana has worked as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor at Metrocare MHMR of Dallas County, where she believes in the power of "Honesty + Self-Awareness = Accountability." Breana loves incorporating creative therapies like art and music into her work and is a strong advocate for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). She's passionate about reducing stigma through community education and has spent nine years in MAT and six years as the Treatment Center Director at AppleGate Recovery.
