Change is a constant, and for organizations in Maine striving for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), it must also be a driving force. Recruiting with DEI in mind isn’t just about checking boxes—it’s about cultivating a culture that evolves alongside the needs of a dynamic workforce. In “How to Recruit with DEI in Mind” by Moses Davis of The Jackson Laboratory, featured in Mainebiz, we are reminded that building a diverse workforce requires conscious effort, ongoing education, and thoughtful conversations. By addressing implicit biases, revising hiring practices, and offering holistic benefits beyond a paycheck, organizations can create inclusive environments where employees thrive. As workplaces change, so must our strategies for attracting and retaining talent. When we embrace curiosity, question traditional methods, and commit to learning, we set the foundation for teams that reflect the diverse, vibrant world we live in—driving innovation and success. 📖 Read the full article for actionable strategies: ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dCFvj5-w Let’s continue the conversation and work together to create meaningful change in Maine’s workforce! #diversitycommunity #DiversityHiring #Maineworkforce
