  • Print continues to play a pivotal role in storytelling, even in a digital-first world. For SUNY Geneseo's Geneseo for Generations campaign, we created a brochure that blended nostalgic design, heartfelt messaging, and compelling visuals to inspire alumni to reconnect and give back. The results speak volumes: 15,000+ donors and nearly 57,000 gifts, bringing the campaign to 86% of its fundraising goal with six months to go. This project highlights how combining impactful storytelling with intentional design can drive meaningful engagement and results. Even in a digital world, the right printed piece can leave a lasting impression. #ProvokeProgress #PrintDesign #CreativeStrategy #MarketingAgency

  • “I had a manager who told me I wasn’t good at building relationships, and they were interested in seeing how that would serve me in my career. It took me a long time of telling myself I wasn’t good at relationships to realize that I’m not good at superficial relationships. Authentic, genuine interactions with others are what I always strive for.” We’re back for another Q&A with our leadership team, this time with Chief Transformation Office Malorie Benjamin. 💡 We chatted all things DS+CO: leadership, staying motivated to innovate, what success looks like and more. Plus, Malorie shares more of her personal side, like what she would do if she wasn’t CTO at DS+CO and the coffee order she’s been loving since summer. Read the full Q&A at dixonschwabl.com/malorie

  • A big shout-out goes to our September Jaz Janie recipient: Director of IT Randy Zajonczkoski, CASP! 🎉 For the past 8+ years at DS+CO, Randy has consistently gone above and beyond behind the scenes to help all of us stay on track and get our jobs done right. Recently, he came into the office after hours—just before he was set to head off on a much-deserved vacation—because he noticed some irregularities with our systems. Randy spent most of the night troubleshooting, putting out fires, and getting us back up and running without delay. We are extremely fortunate and grateful that Randy takes a serious interest in the work of everyone at the agency, has his eye on all that’s happening, and springs into action wherever and whenever he’s needed. Talk about a team player! Randy embodies our DS+CO values and Jaz Janie spirit to the core. Congrats and high-fives, Randy! Every month, Dixon Schwabl + Company honors an outstanding employee with the coveted Jaz Janie Award, created to commemorate Public Relations Vice President Jane “Janie” Argenta, who passed away in September 2009. Jane was a fun-loving, compassionate and hardworking professional who touched the lives of many.

  • Evolving brands require attention, trust and partnership—especially when they’ve been growing for 150 years. Working hand-in-hand with Pike’s leaders, DS+CO evolved the company and its brand foundation. Our team conducted extensive research, both internally at Pike and externally among its customers, to better understand its current makeup and how it was perceived. With this knowledge, we were able to create a new brand framework, outlining the key elements that create a purposeful brand and emphasizing the attributes that make Pike unique. With Pike’s 150th anniversary approaching, the time was right to realign itself under one umbrella and reinforce its longevity, experience, technological advancements and commitment to innovation.
