    Jobs I’ve had as a pediatrician since 2017: Per-diem Locums Medical writer Aesthetics injector Physician expert witness Independent telemedicine Veteran disability examiner Social Security health advisor Freelance academic consultant Despite being taught that full-time clinical medicine was the only viable and legitimate way to practice medicine, I found that so many other roles bring the freedom, flexibility, and income we want from this career. Doctors can learn anything, do anything, and be anything.
